Better Bonus Space

When bonus space is built out over a two or three car garage, it is often difficult to use long and narrow, and out of proportion. One solution is to subdivide the space into smaller, more usable areas. The space immediately adjacent to the entry could be a computer niche, small game room or mini-library. The next space could be used for a bathroom and perhaps a walk-in closet. The final space could be a bedroom, or other recreational area. You now have three comfortable spaces, rather than one large, awkward one, and can sell them incrementally. Even if the buyer chooses not to build the finished space at this time, understanding how it can be used efficiently increases his perception of value.
